Hopes & Dreams was established to provide your child with the best possible love and education.  We understand in today’s world, many parents must both work away from home. We strive to make sure your child is cared for in a manner that every parent can feel comfortable and confident about.  Also, we are very aware that children entering kindergarten need a head start on their education to excel in the classroom.  Our degreed and trained teachers are here to make sure that your child gets an early edge on education and discovers a love for learning.  Our center works with a passion every day to give your children the quality care they deserve.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy at Hopes & Dreams is that children are a precious gift of God and should be treated as so.  We will teach the children the skills they need in everyday life, educational lessons, as well as daily Bible stories.  Our day will consist of a balance of teacher-guided and child initiated indoor and outdoor activities.  Your child will also have the opportunity to build and foster relationships with their peers.  Because we believe that success breeds positive self-esteem, we will guide our teaching and your child’s learning so that they will succeed.

Our Mission

Our mission is to give the children in our care a solid foundation that they can take with them throughout their lives.  We believe the things they learn at an early age will help mold them to be a caring and intelligent adult.
Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

Our Goals

Our goal is to provide your child with the love, education, and life skills that they will carry with them always.  We want to make each parent comfortable leaving their children in our loving and capable hands.  The children here should leave each day with the excitement of learning something new and feeling special.

Meet the Owner

As a college student at Youngstown State University and a mother of three, I realized the importance of preschools that would meet the needs of working families in a loving and caring environment while beginning their lifelong journey of learning.  As a mother and a student, I understood the struggle parents face as they leave their children in another person’s care.

So, in 2004, I opened Hopes & Dreams Preschool and Daycare.  At that time I had three full-time and six part-time children enrolled. The staff included me and another full-time employee.  Within three months of opening, I had to hire additional full-time and part-time employees.  The center grew by leaps and bounds.  Parents of the children loved the top quality care and individual attention their children received.  It did not take long for the community to know that Hopes & Dreams was different.  I was more than a preschool owner; I was a mother who treated the children in my care with the love and respect they deserved.  Children were taught by degreed teachers and graduated from the preschool program more academically and emotionally ready than their peers entering kindergarten.  In just our first year, Hopes & Dreams Preschool was quickly becoming one of the most recognized programs in the area.

Since opening the preschool, I have had another child.  I am now a proud mother of 4 children and owner of a preschool that I am proud my children attend.  I am a very active part of the preschool and continually strive to offer the best care possible.
