Hopes & Dreams Preschool is owned by Hope Jones. The administrator is Beth Reents. Beth has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and oversees all of the classrooms. Lesson plans are turned in every week to ensure developmentally appropriate practices and that the Ohio State Early Learning Content Standards are being followed. The teachers are observed and evaluated on a regular basis. Each child will have an Ages & Stages Questionnaire to be filled out by the parent upon enrolling at our center. This gives the teachers some information on each child’s abilities and strengths. Teachers will also do ongoing authentic assessments with each child and send home progress reports twice a year. Parents may come in for a scheduled parent/teacher conference following these reports. If a parent would like to schedule a conference during other times in the year, those can be arranged with the child’s teacher. Parents are encouraged to check the parent board outside of each classroom and take papers out of each child’s ‘cubby’ daily. Important papers and newsletters, as well as art projects and activities will be sent home. Thank you for your interest in Hopes & Dreams Preschool.
